Stop 1: ABC Studio 31, Melbourne

After a couple of normal days, Friday 8/10 saw the beginning of a sad four-day stint of television worship, with a visit to the ABC's Rippon Lea studios to watch a taping of The 10:30 Slot.

I liked this shot, because you can see the chairs (to the right) from where peeby and myself watched the show, not to mention making up for the fact that I didn't take any photos of it myself. :)

As it turned out, it was a busy night. The audio desk died. For 40 minutes. I'd describe the scene as "organised chaos". :)

In addition to The 10:30 Slot, Studio 31 has also been home to The Micallef Programme, The Big Gig and The Late Show amongst others. It's just a *tad* larger than the Unabomber's 3m x 3.5m shed, weighing in at 21m x 17m x 8.5m.
