Kerosene table lamp with clear crystal glass font with three rows of cut and polished ovals mounted on a rare marbled Bristol blue opaque glass base molded with three sea serpents wrapped around the column. The underside of the base has an embossed registration stamp in the glass which translates to May 29, 1872, this is the registered patent date of the base design. This lamp was made by Silber & Fleming, Wood Street London. Topped with a vintage acid etched 7 inch diameter ball shade.
Height to top of chimney 60 cm and 17 cm diameter.
